I’m wearing a jersey with a rainbow in it and the words “I’m Going to Be A Different Person” on it.
It says something about who I am, the way I see the world and the struggles of being transgender.
For me, it’s the ultimate symbol of my identity.
So, yes, I’ll probably go out and try to become the next Tom Brady.
That’s the goal, right?
I love the symbolism of the jersey.
It is such a bold statement, but for me, I love it for its meaning.
As a transgender woman, I feel more comfortable wearing this jersey.
My family members are supportive of my choice to be different and my teammates support me as well.
It’s been an interesting journey.
For a young transgender woman in the NFL, it was tough to be the only one wearing the jersey and also the only female in the league.
For example, the New England Patriots are a predominantly male organization, and there was a very prominent female presence in the locker room during my rookie season.
The locker room was not welcoming to me, so I felt like I had to prove myself.
I started to see more female teammates, and they started to support me.
I felt more comfortable being out and in the spotlight and being more vocal and talking about what it means to be transgender in sports.
The people that I work with have been supportive and kind to me and have been very supportive.
I feel like it’s something that is really important for me and I really feel like I am a role model to my peers, as well as other transgender athletes, for having a different identity than what most people assume.
For me, being transgender is more than a sport, it is a life.
It’s something I have always been proud of and have done my best to show that I am more than what I am portrayed as in the media.
Being transgender has allowed me to grow as a person.
It has been an amazing journey.
As for my football career, I want to make sure that I don’t miss a beat.
I want this jersey to reflect my journey and how far I’ve come.
I think it is great to see other transgender people who have been through the same struggles and challenges in the past and have gone on to achieve success and become successful in the sports world.
I’m going out there and having a great year.
