A shooting Monday night in suburban Philadelphia left two people dead and five others injured, police said.
Police said the incident was reported at about 7:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Stroud Avenue.
Officers found a man and woman dead inside the house, while another man was injured inside a second home, police Lt.
James Scott said.
The man and the woman were identified as a man who lived in the home, Scott said, and the other man was identified as the man who was shot.
The man was taken to a local hospital.
A 6-year-old boy who lives in the second home was taken into custody, police officials said.
A woman in the third home was not injured, Scott added.
The woman’s name was not immediately released.
Police did not immediately say what led to the shooting, but they said it appeared the two men were arguing over money.
They said they were working to identify the man involved in the shooting.
